People don't choose the best. They choose what they can understand.
I'm Aija Peltola, founder of Freimi. I help you turn your magic into a clear position and core messaging that's easy to repeat.
You know exactly what your company is good at. But how do you say it in 30 seconds?
You know your company through years of decisions, customer calls and working long hours to solve the problem.
Buyers, on the other hand, get a homepage, a sales deck and a few seconds to make sense of you.
Positioning is the first part of go-to-market
Positioning is where the first GTM decisions get made. What do you do, who is this for, why should buyers choose you, and how do you explain it in words sales and marketing can actually use?
If the basics are unclear, distribution gets expensive fast. You can run ads and outbound all day, but if the message is mixed, you just pay to confuse more people.
AI can give you ten versions to tell your story. It can’t tell you which one is the best bet.
Making things has become almost free. What's harder now is even getting noticed. AI writes convincing copy, produces clean landing pages and corporate-y sales pitches. But in the end, it writes the same stuff for everyone, and everyone starts sounding the same.
People, though, have not changed. They still have problems. They have specific needs, they want certain things. Something is more valuable to them than something else.
Positioning is the work where you take your business and put it in a category where it makes sense to buyers, and where you can win. It is where you choose your best customers, and you boldly direct your product or service to them. It's where you try to learn their language to speak about your product so they understand your value.
Relying on AI for positioning or company messaging is not only difficult, it's dangerous. These are still human decisions, human perspectives and human context. AI can help, but it can't make reliable choices on its own. Positioning belongs to the founder.
What the day-to-day looks like
You bring what you know about your market, company and customers. I ask questions, challenge the fuzzy parts, define and write between sessions, and keep the work moving. You leave with positioning and messaging that's actually usable right away.
You are one reframe away from nailing your positioning.
This was my story too. When did you last update yours?
